IBWAA Awards Ballot

As we end another baseball season full of excitement and disappointment, it is time to place those ballots for the end-of-season awards.

I have been a member of the IBWAA for the last three years, and I have never come out and posted my ballots. I decided to share my vote this season and, hopefully, get your thoughts. Here it is:

American League MVP

Shohei Ohtani, Los Angeles Angels

National League MVP

Matt Olson, Atlanta Braves

American League Cy Young

Gerrit Cole, New York Yankees

Justin Steele, Chicago Cubs

Runner Up: Blake Snell, San Diego Padres

American League Rookie of the Year

Josh Jung, Texas Rangers

Runner Up: Gunnar Henderson, Baltimore Orioles

National League Rookie of the Year

Corbin Carroll, Arizona Diamondbacks

Runner Up: Kodai Senga, Chicago Cubs

American League Manager of the Year

Bruce Bochy, Texas Rangers

Runner Up: Brandon Hyde, Baltimore Orioles

National League Manager of the Year

Brian Snitker, Atlanta Braves

Runner Up: Craig Counsell, Milwaukee Brewers

American League Reliever of the Year

Felix Bautista, Baltimore Orioles

Runner Up: Jordan Romano, Toronto Blue Jays

National League Reliever of the Year

Josh Hader, San Diego Padres
