Another loaded weekend across Texas College Baseball brought statement wins, ranked upsets, and a few teams trending in the wrong direction. Conference play is heating up, and the separation is starting to show.

Here’s who’s trending UP and DOWN after the weekend of April 24–26.

Stock Up

Texas Longhorns

Texas bounced back in a big way after a rough Saturday.

  • Friday: Texas 11 – Vanderbilt 4
  • Saturday: Vanderbilt 6 – Texas 0
  • Sunday: Texas 4 – Vanderbilt 3

The Longhorns secured a huge ranked series win on the road. Sunday’s bounce-back showed toughness, and taking a series against an SEC opponent like Vanderbilt carries serious weight moving forward.

Texas A&M Aggies

The Aggies quietly put together one of the best weekends in the country.

  • Friday: Florida 9 – Texas A&M 2
  • Sunday: Texas A&M 5 – Florida 1

After dropping Game 1, A&M responded with authority to take the series over a Top 25 Florida squad. That’s a resume-building series win and keeps them firmly in the national conversation.

Lamar Cardinals

Lamar exploded offensively and dominated their series finale.

  • Friday: Lamar 7 – New Orleans 11 (L)
  • Saturday: Lamar 7 – New Orleans 2 (W)
  • Sunday: Lamar 20 – New Orleans 1 (W)

A 20-run statement on Sunday flips the narrative. That kind of offensive explosion can carry momentum into the next weekend.

UT Rio Grande Valley Vaqueros

UTRGV continues to stack wins in conference play.

  • Friday: UTRGV 8 – McNeese 7
  • Saturday: McNeese 5 – UTRGV 3
  • Sunday: UTRGV 10 – McNeese 7

Winning a road series like this matters. The offense showed consistency, and they’re becoming a real factor in the Southland race.

TCU Horned Frogs

TCU made a loud statement in Big 12 play.

  • Friday: TCU 8 – Houston 3
  • Saturday: TCU 14 – Houston 2

The Frogs dominated this series and continue trending upward at the right time. The offense is clicking, and the pitching backed it up.

Abilene Christian Wildcats

One of the most explosive offensive weekends in the state.

  • Friday: UT Arlington 11 – ACU 6 (L)
  • Saturday: ACU 14 – UT Arlington 4 (W)

ACU showed resilience and offensive firepower. When they’re scoring like this, they’re dangerous.

Stock Down

Texas Tech Red Raiders

A tough weekend that raises real concerns.

  • Friday: Oklahoma State 16 – Texas Tech 6
  • Saturday: Oklahoma State 11 – Texas Tech 2

The Red Raiders were outmatched all weekend. Pitching struggles and a lack of run prevention are becoming a pattern.

Baylor Bears

Another rough showing against ranked competition.

  • Friday: Arizona State 11 – Baylor 2
  • Saturday: Arizona State 4 – Baylor 2

Baylor continues to struggle against quality opponents. They’ll need to find consistency quickly in conference play.

Houston Cougars

A tough series against TCU exposed some gaps.

  • Friday: TCU 8 – Houston 3
  • Saturday: TCU 14 – Houston 2

Houston couldn’t slow down TCU’s offense and struggled to keep games competitive late.

Dallas Baptist Patriots

A frustrating split weekend with missed opportunities.

  • Friday: DBU 10 – FIU 5
  • Saturday: FIU 13 – DBU 10

Inconsistency continues to be the issue. DBU has the talent, but closing out series is becoming a problem.

UTSA Roadrunners

A missed opportunity on the road.

  • Friday: UTSA 8 – Tulane 2
  • Saturday: Tulane 12 – UTSA 7

The Roadrunners couldn’t carry momentum forward. These are games that matter in conference standings.

Final Thoughts

This weekend showed exactly where teams stand:

  • Texas and Texas A&M picked up massive resume wins
  • Lamar and UTRGV are trending upward in the Southland
  • TCU is quietly becoming one of the hottest teams in Texas
  • Texas Tech and Baylor need answers—and fast

Conference play is starting to separate contenders from pretenders, and every weekend from here on out only gets bigger.
